I’m pleased to share that I’ve been appointed Vice President of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce – Cannock Chase Division.

This isn’t about a title. It’s about responsibility.

Over the past few years, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful local business communities can be when they are connected, collaborative and forward-looking. The Cannock Chase Division represents a diverse mix of entrepreneurs, manufacturers, professional services, retailers and growth-focused SMEs. Real businesses. Real challenges. Real ambition.

I’ve always believed that business growth is not a solo sport.

Whether through Vision to Venture, Lean transformation work, or simply sitting across the table from a founder who feels stuck, my work has always centred on one thing: helping businesses move forward with clarity.

This new role allows me to contribute at a wider level.

Why This Matters

We’re in a region full of potential.

But potential only becomes progress when:

  • Businesses connect properly

  • Leaders share knowledge openly

  • Young people see opportunity locally

  • Collaboration replaces competition

As Vice President, my focus will be simple:

  • Strengthening engagement between members

  • Encouraging practical, no-fluff business conversations

  • Supporting early-stage founders alongside established firms

  • Helping bridge the gap between education and enterprise

I’ve worked across the UK and Australia, and one thing remains consistent: strong regions are built on strong business communities.

Cannock Chase has that opportunity.

Looking Ahead

The Chamber plays a vital role in representing business interests, creating networking opportunities and influencing regional growth. My intention is to bring energy, clarity and a founder’s perspective to the role.

If you’re a local business owner and you’re not engaged with the Chamber, now is the time to take a look.

And if you are a member, I’m always open to a conversation about how we can make it stronger together.
