Go True North Shortlisted for the SLTC Breakthrough Business Award 2026

Yesterday we received an email that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Go True North has been shortlisted for the SLTC Breakthrough Business Award for 2026, covering the Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth and Cannock Chase regions.

SLTC Business Awards - We have been shortlisted!

For a business that started as a small idea and has grown through a lot of graft, long days and genuine belief in helping others, this recognition means a great deal. Awards are never the goal, but they do highlight that the work is landing where it matters.

Over the past year we have continued to build momentum around Vision to Venture and our wider business improvement work. From supporting local entrepreneurs to helping established organisations streamline the way they operate, the focus has always been the same. Create value, cut the noise and give people the clarity and support they need to move forward.

A lovely part of this news is that we are not the only ones recognised. One of the start-ups we have been coaching through Vision to Venture, The Holistic VA, has also made the shortlist. It is fantastic to see Claire’s progress being noticed. She has worked incredibly hard and it is well deserved. Good luck Claire.

Being shortlisted acknowledges not just the business, but the people behind it. Clients who trusted the process. Partners who backed the mission. And the growing community of founders who are shaping Vision to Venture into something special. I am grateful for every conversation, every bit of feedback and every moment someone has believed in what we are building.

The full shortlist will be released later this week, so I will share more once it is out. Whatever the outcome, this is a proud milestone. It shows that the journey is heading in the right direction and that the impact is being seen across our local business communities.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this chapter. There is plenty more to come.
